Laser Dentistry

A gentle dental experience without any pain or discomfort

Laser Dentistry

Effective For Cosmetic Treatments As Well As Preventative Purposes.

Precise & Minimally Invasive Procedures

Laser dentistry involves the use of lasers to treat various dental conditions. It has revolutionized dental care as it enables more precise treatment and can preserve the teeth which might have been lost due to standard treatments.

Laser dentistry is used in various treatments including tooth sensitivity, detecting cavities, whitening, gum disease and other soft tissue procedures. It is a more convenient treatment option compared to surgery, drilling and other traditional methods.

How can laser dentistry help me?

  • Tooth preparation – Before laser dentistry, a drill would be required for a tooth filling.  But now, lasers have completely eliminated the need for drilling and anaesthesia.
  • Reshaping soft tissue –  Soft tissue can be dissolved by laser to expose more of the natural tooth and reshape it to make “gummy smiles” more attractive.
  • Frenectomy – Speech and the feeding habits of babies, children and adults can be corrected with laser dentistry by untying the tongue.
  • Tumour removal –  A dental laser can completely remove dental tumours without causing pain.
  • Whitening – Lasers can fasten up the tooth whitening process by increasing the activity of the particles in the peroxide bleaching solution.
  • Biopsy – Lasers can be used to perform a biopsy on suspicious areas of soft tissue.  This procedure can be performed instantly and with great precision.
